The Leadership and Literacy Campaign

BCCS is currently spearheading a national campaign called the Leadership and Literacy Campaign with actor Nate Parker from the inspirational film, The Great Debaters. The goal of the program is to cultivate leadership amongst urban youth and college students through educational programs and presentations that utilize a curriculum that was created around themes from the film The Great Debaters.

The program focuses on increasing literacy amongst youth through a proactive campaign that promotes awareness and excitement for reading and research while empowering them to engage in critical issues that impact their community through structured debates.
